Winding Down 2013
Can you believe it's almost 2014? Where has the time gone?
I remember as a child my parents always talking about how time flies when you get older. Well......here I am an "adult" (I use that term loosely) and time is flying!
Here we are creeping up on 2014 and the holidays are almost here. I'm reflecting on 2013 and setting new goals for 2014.
My goals for 2013 were met and blown away! I exceeded my total transaction goal by 15 closings and my total dollars by $1 million! I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I'm very excited about the wonderful clients that I have had this year.
Because I'm still considered a "Rookie", I have learned so much! I have met some wonderful and not so wonderful people. And I'm sure that is with any type of business.
I have learned that every sale is different. Some run smoothly, and some are total nightmares. HA!
That's OK.....that is what life is all about.
If someone would've suggested years ago that I would become a Real Estate Professional, I would've laughed. But, I wish I would've started this years ago. It's never too late!

My first full year as a Real Estate Rookie has ended. It seems like I have had every kind of "scenario" known in the real estate business. Through each and every one of them, I have learned TONS. I have also stayed firm for my clients. My clients mean the world to me and I want to make sure they are represented well.
I won't spout off numbers of transactions or number of sale dollars because my clients mean more to me that numbers and sales figures.
This year has be quite challenging, but it has been so rewarding! I was able to find homes for 5 wonderful first time homebuyers! I downsized 5 empty nesters and helped 5 investors and found the perfect homes for 7 families looking for bigger places for an expanding family. I helped 4 families that had trouble with lenders in the past match up with a mortgage broker and get them in the perfect home, as well.
In the meantime, I sold acreage and a few homes, as well.
Many people happy = a happy Real Estate Rookie.
